May 1924:
Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IIra is invited by Sir Denison Ross, Chairman of the Conference of Living Religions within the Empire, to represent the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community at the conference in London. An initial consultation meeting is called with members of the Community in Qadian.
24th June 1924: Prayer and Planning
Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IIra, upon receipt of an invitation to attend and address the Wembley Conference, seeks counsel from the broader community and designates fourty members to perform Istikhara. After favorable responses are received and personal conviction is reflected upon following prayer, the decision to travel to England is affirmed.
28th July 1924: Journey Through the Promised Land
“The Promised Messiah or one of his Successors [Khulafa] will undertake a journey to the region of Damascus.”

Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IIra fulfills the prophecy through his journey encompassing Cairo, Jerusalem, Haifa, and Damascus en route to England. Upon observing the state of Muslim leadership, His Holinessra reflects, stating:
” I have met with prominent Muslims there who are assured and believe that they will succeed in expelling the Jews. However, in my opinion, they are mistaken. The Jewish nation is firmly entrenched in their ancestral land…It is evident from the prophecies of the Holy Qur’an and some revelations of the Promised Messiah that the Jews will indeed prosper in this country. Therefore, in my view, the confidence of Muslim leaders will ultimately lead to their own downfall.” (Anwarul Uloom, vol. 8, p. 448)
16th August 1924:
Upon arrival in Rome, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IIra meets with Prime Minister Benito Mussolini, explaining the purpose of the establishment of the Ahmadiyya movement. Subsequently, during an interview with the editor of La Tribuna, discussions about presenting Islam to the Pope ensue. “I would bring the glad tidings of Islam to the Pope and convey to him that we have received those signs that are bestowed upon God’s chosen ones”

22nd August 1924: Arriving in London: A Captivating Sojourn
Upon arrival in London, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IIra conducts prayers at various esteemed locations, including Victoria Station, Ludgate, and St. Paul’s Cathedral. Subsequently, he takes up residence at 6 Chesham Place.
29th Aug 1924: Brighton Extends a Warm Welcome to His Holinessra
Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IIra visits Brighton and offers prayers at the Chattri Memorial, honoring Muslim soldiers. Later, at the Royal Pavilion, he delivers an address in Urdu, with Hazrat Ch. Zafrullah Khanra providing the English translation.
14th Sep 1924: Heavenly Message Delivered to the People of Portsmouth
“Men and women of Portsmouth, I have brought you glad tidings, aye joyful tidings, viz., the message of God that He has not forsaken you, that the gates of His mercy have been opened to you and it is now for you to enter therein…the Promised Messiah (on whom be peace) offers you a ready return. He promises you Union with God, not after death, but in this very life.”

23rd Sep 1924: ‘The Ahmadiyya Movement’ delivered at the Wembley Conference of Living Religions
Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IIra provides insights into the claims of the Promised Messiahas and the signs of his truthfulness. He also highlights the origin, purpose and the present strength of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community.
3rd Oct 1924: First Shura (Consultation) of the UK Jama’at
Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IIra convenes the inaugural Shura of the UK Jama’at at 6 Chesham Place to conclude the relocation of the Review of Religions to the UK. Subsequently, he summons another assembly and appoints Hazrat Maulana Abdul Raheem Dardra as the head Imam of the London Mission, with Hazrat Maulana Ghulam Fareedra serving as his deputy.
19th Oct 1924: Initiation of London’s First Mosque: Foundation Stone Laid
A diverse assembly of people from various racial backgrounds and social classes witnesses the momentous occasion of Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IIra laying the foundation of England’s first mosque. Numerous cameramen and film companies document this historic event.
30th Oct 1924: Return Voyage: Prayers at Grande Mosquée de Paris on the Way to Qadian, India
During his return journey to Qadian, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih IIra made a brief stop in Paris, visiting the Grand Mosque of Paris under construction at the time. There, he led the Zuhr and Asr prayers, following the Azan called by Hafiz Roshan Alira.
